Today, we’re incredibly excited to announce that Silk Security is becoming part of Armis!
After two years building Silk, today represents a new milestone for our team. We are accelerating the adoption of Silk’s risk solution platform across organizations all over the globe by integrating with the Armis Centrix™ AI-based Vulnerability Prioritization and Remediation solution.
When Or, Bar, and I started our journey in 2022, we knew we were on to something big with an innovative approach that was desperately needed by a rather disappointed market. Before Silk, we had spent years detecting, operationalizing, and remediating enterprise security risk as practitioners. We had seen firsthand that risk prioritization solutions were too limited and couldn’t support the cyber data complexity of an entire enterprise - organizations were building or buying many point solutions that had to be stitched together and their risk programs weren’t getting any better - something wasn’t working.
We engaged in conversations with hundreds of CISOs and security leaders globally, consistently receiving similar feedback.Traditional risk-based vulnerability management (RBVM) tools were only focused on one domain of security, geared only for on-prem or only for cloud, lacked advanced remediation workflows, or had months-long onboarding processes that resulted in poor time-to-value.
We created Silk with the intention of revolutionizing the industry. Our Risk Resolution platform integrates the risk lifecycle across security vendors, practitioners, and remediation owners in organizations worldwide. In the last couple of years, we have made significant advancements, and the momentum and expansion we've experienced affirm the validity of our vision.
To me, this acquisition only strengthens that validation. Yevgeny, Nadir and the Armis team share our ethos and vision to help organizations of all levels of complexity better protect their assets - and the business that runs on those assets. Armis’ unique approach to physical asset security has become an industry standard for the Fortune 100, 200 and 500 and governments all over the world, all of which use the Armis Centrix™ platform to better secure their assets.
